Class of 1942 hosts 65th reunion

The Craig High School class of 1942 had its 65th class reunion Aug. 10 to 12 in Craig.

The class met for the first session at the First Christian Church fellowship hall for a meal catered by two of the classmates, Edith (Mobley) Myers and Florence (Prather) VanTassel. Time was spent visiting, eating, taking pictures, looking at photos of prior reunions and reading messages from absent members.

On Saturday, the group visited the Wyman Museum and had their evening meal at the Tin Cup Grill. The final get together was Sunday morning at the O.P. Bar and Grill, where tentative plans were made for another reunion in two years.

Those who attended one or more of the reunion sessions were Dan Dillon, Gene Murphy, Louise (Kesler) Wright, Lois (Kesler) Hobbs, Florence (Prather) VanTassel, Edith (Mobley) Myers, Lois (Whicker) Norman, Ena (McEntee) Peed, Elizabeth (Miller) VanDorn, Ed Strausborger, and Gordon Tileston. Guests were Ron and Sue Kesler, Evelyn Tileston, Perry VanDorn, Jack and Bobbie Peed, Maxine (Whicker) Carnes, Ella Murphy, Gale Norman and John Scott.
