Craig briefs: Discount program for FFA members
Craig — Murdoch’s Ranch and Home supply, 2355 W. Victory Way, will introduce a storewide FFA discount program for FFA members on show-related products needed to complete agriculture-based education and training.
The discount program kicks off Saturday in all 15 stores across Colorado, Montana, Nebraska and Wyoming.
FFA members can stop by their local Murdoch’s store and present a proof of membership in the form of an FFA membership card, FFA jacket or an FFA newsletter addressed to them to receive a discount card for Murdoch’s.
The discount card will provide a 10 percent discount on necessary FFA/AG educational show supplies.
Wyman Museum to host weekend tractor pulls
The Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40, invites the community to tractor pulls Saturday and Sunday at the museum. The tractor pulls begin at 9 a.m. The museum and Pagoda store will be open, as well.

Wyoming museum to celebrate the year 1949
The Grand Encampment Museum, 807 Barnett Ave., in Encampment, Wyo., is hosting a Grand Encampment Cowboy Gathering from July 17 through 19 and a Living History Day on July 18 and 19.
During the events, the museum will be celebrating the year 1949 and invites anyone who remembers that year, has cars from that year, or was born that year to join the celebration.
Among the various activities, there will be storytellers, re-enactments, demonstrations and a book signing July 18. Among the authors expected to participate are Dick Perue, Starley Talbott, Terry Del Bene and Dawn Senior-Trask.
Regular museum tours will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 18. Admission to the museum is free.

Pet Mates Calendar voting is today
The Humane Society of Moffat County will host public voting for the 2010 Pet Mates Calendar contest during the Downtown Business Association’s Farmers Market, scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. today at Alice Pleasant Park.
The voting is open to the public. Votes are made by donating to selected pets.
