Craig Briefs: Daily Press to host online chat
The Craig Daily Press is hosting an online chat with Peter Epp, a candidate for Moffat County surveyor, at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Epp will answer community questions regarding his interest in and qualifications for the surveyor position.
Participants may submit questions to be asked of Epp before or during the chat.

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
The Daily Press intends to host online chats with all of Moffat County’s candidates before the Aug. 10 primary.
Moffat County Libraries closed
All branches of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed today in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. Branches are scheduled to reopen for regular use Tuesday.

Newspaper seeking hunting stories
The Craig Daily Press is seeking photos of hunting adventures and story suggestions from area hunters for inclusion in its annual “Colorado Hunter” publication.
Story ideas range from features about generations of hunters to new equipment that is changing the world of hunting, and anything in between. Photos need to be at least 300 dpi and clear for publication. The Daily Press would need digital .jpg files.

The Craig Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are having a business after-hours mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the OP Bar and Grill, 534 E. Victory Way. There will be food and a Hawaiian theme.
