Craig briefs: Craig Daily Press seeks hunter photos for contest
The Craig Daily Press is seeking hunting photo submissions for its Hunter Photo Contest. The newspaper began accepting photos Oct. 30 and will continue collecting submissions through Nov. 30. Whoever submits the best hunter photo will receive a $250 gift certificate to Murdoch’s. Send your photos to editor@CraigDailyPress.com. Fundraiser for Oxley family home is today
The home of Christina and Kevin Oxley was destroyed Sunday night after a barbecue grill blaze lit the house on fire. The couple has three young daughters. The Craig Chamber of Commerce is collecting gift cards, money and clothes to give to the Oxley family. The community also is planning a fundraiser at the ice-skating rink at 1 p.m. today.
