Craig Briefs: City awarded grant for park equipment

The city of Craig recently was awarded a $5,000 grant through the Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado and the Department of Local Affairs. The grant will be used to fund the replacement and/or expansion of outdated streetscape and park equipment in downtown Craig, according to a news release. The projects are the result of the findings of the downtown assessment conducted in March.

According to a news release from the Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado, Craig City Manager Jim Ferree said the project will result in increased business in downtown Craig.
