Craft show offers something to all

Valentine shoppers looking for unique gifts this weekend might find them at the Craig Elks Lodge during the Craft Show being held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Lodge, 43 E. Victory Way.

“This is our first year of holding a craft show” organizer Dora Watson said. “We have 15 tables displaying everything from Kitty Webster’s rope baskets, mirrors and clocks, to bead work by Robin Willis.”

High school cheerleaders and local soccer youths are bringing bake sale items, and the Elks snack bar will be open all day for shoppers and vendors.

“The Browns Park Home-makers Club will be displaying their quilt for this year, and people can leave their displays up overnight, because we will have security watching over them,” Watson said.

The cost to display crafts is $20 per table, and a few tables remain.
