Court hearing postponed for woman arrested in connection with death of local man
A court appearance for Kristen Johnson, the Routt County woman arrested last week on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, has been continued until 1 p.m. Friday.
Johnson was originally scheduled to appear in court Monday afternoon.
She and her husband, Lucas Johnson, were arrested last week on charges related to the death of longtime Routt County resident Edward Zimmerman.
Lucas Johnson is being held with no bond on suspicion of first-degree murder.
Zimmerman’s remains were discovered last week.
Zimmerman is being remembered by friends and family as a loving father who lived life to the fullest.
