Cory Overton: Let the people decide

To the editor:

I have lived in Craig all my life. This so-called deer issue is so dumb. I have never seen any one of them attack, other than the ones that chase them. Same with dogs.

My feelings are if you don’t like it, move, or, we can bait and trap you, and relocate the people like they want to do with the deer.

I have seen more people bitten by dogs than deer.

It’s time we take our town back and not let politics do this. I think we want put it to a town vote and go from there, not just let the Craig City Council decide.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

Let’s vote. It’s time they hear us and do the right thing, leave the deer alone.
