Community support makes haunted house a success

To the Editor:

The Craig Rotary Club raised $300 during our Haunted House on Oct. 31, 2003. We would not been able to do this without the help of the following businesses:

The Craig Daily Press for giving our club space to build and store supplies for the Haunted House, as well as hosting the event on Halloween;

MJK for providing hay bales; and Chaos, Inc. for supervising and running this activity.

People involved in this activity were members of the Craig Rotary Club, Craig Daily Press carriers, Rotary Youth Exchange student to Poland Samantha Janiga, and our two clowns, Jordan Anthony and Kris Lund.

The money raised will be sent to the Grudziadz Rotary Club in Poland. This club will give these funds to the high school where Samantha was a student.

We want to thank the community for supporting our project that gave kids a safe place to go during Halloween.

Nancy A. Muldoon,

President Craig Rotary Club
