College district board to engage auditor at monthly meeting Monday
CRAIG — Engaging an auditor is among the actions expected to be taken by the college district board when it meets at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20.
The Moffat County Affiliated Junior College District Board of Contol is also expected to convene executive sessions pursuant to (§24-6-402(4)(a), C.R.S.), to consider the purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of any real, personal, or other property interest; and pursuant to (§24-6-402(4)(f)(I), C.R.S.) to consider personnel matters.
Additionally, members of the board will consider approval of meeting minutes and treasurer’s reports, as well as receive reports from from the following.
• Colorado Northwestern Community College President Ron Granger
• Interim Vice President of the Craig Campus Ron Slinger
• Terry Carwile — foundation liaison report
• City council liaison update
And in other business, the college board will discuss plans for student housing and the CNCC website, among other items. The meeting will be held in room 225 of the CNCC Academic Services Building, 2801 W. Ninth St.
