CNCC soccer signs players from Front Range, Nebraska for fall
The Colorado Northwestern Community College men’s soccer program recently announced its signing of two new players to play for the Spartans in the upcoming fall season in Craig.
CNCC coach Doug Seigle said he recruited Axel Aldana of Crete, Nebraska in April.
Aldana is currently a senior on the Crete High School Cardinals, which this week finished its season in the state semifinals, ending the schedule 14-3, among some of Nebraska’s top teams.
“He plays defender and midfield for his high school team and is someone I expect to have an immediate impact on our program,” Seigle said.
Seigle will also bring Malique Zuniga to CNCC this season. Zuniga graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 2018 and is experienced in nearly every part of the game.
“He is another player that can play multiple positions and expected to have an immediate impact on our team,” Seigle said.
Seigle and CNCC soccer continue to recruit for the fall and the summer practice sessions that will precede it.
