CNCC hosts Foundation fundraiser dinner Saturday

Darian Warden

The Colorado Northwestern Community College will host a foundation fundraiser dinner, Saturday, at the Craig campus commons.

Beginning at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and cocktails, a live auction at 7 p.m. and dinner catered by the Tin Cup Grill at 7:30 p.m., the event features live music by Anthony Tremaine.

Lois Wymore and Jane Hume, foundation board members, said the dinner is the kickoff to gain support for residential facilities.

“We want this to make the statement that dorms are what we want and what we want supported,” Wymore said.

Hume said the auction portion of the evening features light fixtures, a purse, pictures and a nice cheese cutting dish set donated by businesses and members of the community, to name a few items.

Hume said student volunteers have really stepped up to the plate and will be an integral part of running the fundraiser.

The event is semi-formal dress with valet service in the form of a shuttle to take guests from the parking lot to the event so guests don’t have to walk very far said Wymore.

Tickets are $30 per person and are available at The Merc (the Craig campus bookstore), the foundation office or from foundation members. For more information call (970) 824-1124.
