The Craig Middle School boys basketball team ended its regular season on a high note Saturday, defeating visiting Rangely, 28-18.

The Bulldogs were led by the post play of Tyler Hildebrandt, who finished with 18 points in the paint.

“We were missing three of our starters, and we still put together a pretty good game,” CMS coach David Grabowski said.

The Bulldogs were without leading scorer Paul Laliberte, point guard CJ Chavez and winger Garrett Stewart.

Craig Middle School (9-3 overall) finished the regular season undefeated against teams from Colorado, losing to Rawlins (Wyo.) Middle School and Little Snake River Valley (Baggs, Wyo.)

The Bulldogs begin post-season tournament play Saturday at home.
