City: Halloween is Saturday

So as not to confuse Craig parents or get children overly excited about the possibility of collecting candy twice, the Craig City Council on Tuesday proclaimed Saturday as the official night for trick-or-treating in Craig.

The decision was made in conjunction with several Halloween events scheduled for Saturday night such as the Centennial Mall’s trick- or-treat fest and the Downtown Business Association-sponsored events.

“Whether or not it will do any good, I don’t know, but it can’t hurt,” City Manager Jim Ferree said.

Other events scheduled for Saturday include trick or treating at Sunset Meadows and the Rotary Club’s haunted house at the Craig Daily Press.
