City council to discuss recreational use of marijuana in Craig

Tonight, Craig City Council will discuss what the city wants to do with Amendment 64, concerning recreational marijuana.

In past discussions, the council considered making an ordinance to either allow or not allow recreation shops to open in Craig. Another option the council is considering is to let the voters decide on a ballot question in November.

City council meets at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, and the line item to discuss marijuana states that council will have a “discussion of options for complying with Amendment 64 of the state constitution regarding personal use and commercial regulation of marijuana.”

Council meetings are open to the public.
