Today is deadline to register for CNCC Greece trip
The trip includes airfare, lodging, breakfast, guided tours, admission into many of the siteds and transportation. Travelers will depart Friday, March 16 and return Sunday, March 25. The class costs $2,550, and senior citizens pay $2,300. Students must register and pay a $500 deposit by Dec. 1.

CNCC Community Education is offering the 'Twelve Classes of Christmas' — 12 days of craft and art workshops, including the following.

Ridgeview Elementary School December activities announced

Ridgeview Elementary school is holding a number of events during December, including the following.

• After School Art Program
The program will begin Monday, Dec. 4. Sign-up at the school. For more information, email PAC President, Mindy Baker at mindyrb@ymail.com.

• School music concerts
Elementary After School Choirs will be perform at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at Alice Pleasant Park for Downhome Christmas.
On Dec. 15, students will perform at two concerts. At 5:30 p.m., the Ridgeview Music Club will perform, and at 6 p.m. the fourth- and fifth-grade choirs will perform.

• Annual canned food drive
The school's canned food drive begins Monday, Dec. 4. Homerooms are competing for big prizes. Send donated canned foods and non-perishables to school with children. Santa will be there to pick up all the donations Dec. 20.

• Ridgeview Parent Advisory Committee
The Ridgeview PAC will meet the second Tuesday of each month in the library. For more information, email PAC President Mindy Baker at mindyrb@ymail.com.

Parenting class registration open through Jan. 16
The class offers simple, practical techniques to help parents raise responsible children, have more fun in their role and easily and immediately change their children's behavior. For parents and educators of all ages.

The class will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays Jan. 30 through March 13 at the Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave. The class is free, and child care will be provided.
