Cherie Blomquist: A slap in the face to local teachers
To the editor:
Mr. Folks, your letter was respected by many, thank you for that.
With all of the budget talks going on with Moffat County School District and all the rumors mulling around, I was wondering how a “broke” district can send its principals to a hiring fair out of state for three days?
This is wrong in two ways: one where is the money coming from, and second, this seems to be a slap in the face of teachers here in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah who may apply here.
Are we not good enough for Moffat County? Moffat County holds many talented and gifted teachers.
The district should be trying to hold on to those teachers.
