Championship results for market beef, swine from the Moffat County Fair
The results are in for two of the most anticipated livestock shows at the fair. Large crowds turned out to watch 4-H and FFA market beef and swine classes. The top prizes went to:
• Grand Champion — Payton Voloshin
• Reserve Grand Champion — Torin Reed
• Grand Champion — Grace Baker
• Reserve Champion — Joey Winters
Livestock Judge Dakota Reiss, from Kansas, told the crowd, at the end of the swine show, that he had been impressed with the hospitality shown by the community, and the competitiveness of kids who had produced high quality animals.
Bidders will have the opportunity to buy these and many other fine animals at the 4-H and FFA Livestock Auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night.
Complete results for the 2017 Moffat County Fair will be shared in a special section of the Craig Press later this year.
