Chamber seeking letters for four board seats

Craig Daily Press Staff Report

The Craig Chamber of Commerce will have four seats on its board of directors open at the end of the year.

Board terms for Gail Severson of Severson Supply and Rental, Don Jones of Craig Steel, Jeff Smith of Advantage Water Technologies and Ryan Duran of Eastside Liquor expire at the end of 2011.

The 12-member board governs the Chamber, which operates the Moffat County Visitor Center and Sportsman Information Center. The Chamber membership elects board members.

The board meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Board members are expected to attend regular board meetings, one committee meeting per month and Chamber events as schedules allow.

Those interested in serving on the board must be members in good standing. Anyone who is interested in serving on the board should send a letter of interest to or drop it by the Chamber, 360 E. Victory Way, by Aug. 31.

The Chamber board will make the final decision about which candidates will be listed on the ballot.
