Car versus light pole ends in injuries: On the Record — Jan. 2

7:23 a.m. On the 800 block of Rose Street, officers with the Craig Police Department assisted after receiving a call from a person who said that they did not have any water. Officers helped the person reach the city water department.
2:24 p.m. At the Public Safety Center, officers received a call from a person who wanted to speak with officers regarding a harassment issue. The person was contacted and advised police were unable to assist with the matter.
3:53 p.m. Near the intersection of Mack Lane and Industrial Avenue, officers responded to a crash resulting in property damage. A vehicle ran into a light pole. The vehicle was still drivable, and the driver was issued a summons.
5:32 p.m. At Elkhorn Apartments, officers responded to a report of possible theft. A caretaker reportedly moved items from one apartment into her own apartment. Officers arrived to help resolve the dispute.
7:32 p.m. On the 700 block of School Street, officers responded when a woman called and wanted her boyfriend and his children to leave. Officers advised her of eviction procedures.
10:48 p.m. On the 600 Wickes Avenue, a caller reported a man and woman were heard to be fighting. The dispute was verbal only.
