Campbell promoted to advertising manager

Craig Daily Press Staff Report

— Renee Campbell was promoted to advertising manager at the Craig Daily Press on Tuesday.

Campbell replaces Samantha Johnston, who worked as the regional advertising manager for the Daily Press and the Steamboat Pilot & Today.

Campbell’s focus will solely be on the Craig Daily Press and its advertisers.

“I am really excited about being given this opportunity,” Campbell said. “I appreciate the confidence Daily Press publisher Bryce Jacobson and his manager has shown to me. I have a great staff, and I look forward to many years of growth with them.

“Together we will strive for excellence and come up with innovative ways to grow our advertising department for the betterment of all Craig area businesses.”

Campbell moved from Mich-igan to Craig in 2006.

“I love living in Craig,” she said. “It is amazingly beautiful here.”

Prior to coming to Craig, she worked at a home improvement manufacturing company as a purchasing manager for 14 years, and she has more than six years of management experience in different fields.

Campbell is married to Jim, who is an electrician at Twenty-mile Coal Co. She has four children – three boys and a girl. Three of her children live in Michigan, and her youngest son, Jeremiah Gordon, is a sophomore at Moffat County High School. Her stepdaughter, Aubrey Campbell, is in fifth grade.

“We are very excited to have Renee as our advertising manager,” Jacobson said. “She has well-rounded experience and a great work ethic. She is a great addition to this position.”
