Byron Willems: I respect Fire Board’s wishes
To the editor:
Now, since the dust has settled a little, I would like to simply say, as I have said all along, I respect the wishes of the Craig Fire Board members, who I hold in the highest regard, trust and respect.
I don’t apologize for the comments I made because they are my opinion and I believe them.
It is ironic that I write this on Memorial Day, when we honor our military who have fought and died for our right to have and speak our opinion. I have put my heart and soul into serving one of the finest Fire Departments in the state of Colorado for the past 31 years. I only want what’s right for our Fire Department.
