What prompted you to open your business in Craig? It was a spur of the moment thing. I was looking for a place to do hair.
How did you get into your line of business? It always has been a dream of mine to do hair. The opportunity came to stay in Craig, go to school and open a shop.
Describe your philosophy of being a good businesswoman. Treat people with respect and show them kindness.
How do you define the role of your business in the community? To provide salon services to the people of the community and those traveling through.
What’s the best part of your job? Meeting new people and having them feel better about themselves.
What’s the most challenging part of your job? Getting the word out that we are here in the Holiday Inn.
What advice would you give to a young person considering opening his or her own business? Be very patient and don’t give up. Do a wonderful job and your clients will return.
