I wanted to be self-employed. I like the sense of independence and expressing my ideas and talents.

How did you get into your line of business?

My dad is in the business.

Describe your philosophy of being a good business person.

Be honest. Deliver a nice product in a timely fashion.

How do you define the role of your business in the community?

I serve the hunting community and provide them with a service they need and wanted.

What’s the best part of your job?

For me it is the art and being able to re-create something that was alive.

What’s the most challenging part of your job?

Keeping up with the workload.

What advice would you give to a young person considering opening his or her own business?

If you think you can do it — just do it! You’ll never know until you do it.
