Business Buzz: DBA to meet at Bell Tower this week
The Downtown Business Association — a group of business owners in downtown Craig — will meet at 8 a.m. at the Business Success Center at the Bell Tower on Wednesday. The group usually meets at Downtown Books, but this week, business owners will learn from Steve Fulton about what the Business Success Center can do to help their businesses thrive.
Pizza Hut offers fundraisers for schools
In recent weeks, Craig’s Pizza Hut has hosted numerous fundraiser nights for local schools within Moffat County School District, including East, Sandrock and Ridgeview Elementary Schools, as well as outside the district, such as Calvary Baptist School.
The restaurant donates a portion of its profits from the night to the school in question.
Pizza Hut Manager Jade Felkins said he also has been working to arrange events for other organizations in town, such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Moffat County Libraries.
“We’re just trying to get the committee back involved with us so we can make everybody happy,” he said.

Big Show Fair Store now open
Rock Spring, Wyoming — Wyoming’s Big Show Fair Store opened its doors Thursday. Fair goers can register and buy items online at http://www.sweetwaterevents.com for the upcoming 2014 Wyoming’s Big Show: The Sweetwater County Fair.
Wyoming’s Big Show will be July 24 through Aug. 2 at the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs.
At the Fair Store, fair goers can reserve an RV space, reserve a horse stall, buy carnival wristbands, buy fair admission booklets and pay livestock fees. While it may seem early, there are may families who have camped at the same campsite for several years, and space fills up quickly. Those families will be online first-thing to get a space.
The Fair Store features all open class premium books and an online entry system. The Sweetwater County Fair is an annual event in Western Wyoming that drew nearly 70,000 visitors in 2013. For more information, call the Sweetwater Events Complex at 307-352-6789, ext. 100.
