Building in weather’s façade

Hans Hallgren

— Heavy snowfall.

High winds.

No problem.

These are some of the elements workers have faced putting up the new Moffat County National Bank building, 435 Mack Lane. Despite these conditions, construction of the building pushes forward.

“The bank had the insight to hire a local contractor,” said David Griffith, owner of APH Construction Inc. “It’s all local guys working on the building.”

And Griffith suggested that might be why the construction is moving along so well.

His said his enthusiasm for building probably also helps.

“I love to build,” he said. “It’s the coolest job that I’ve ever done.”
