Bring jams, cakes, quilts, fleece, crafts to Moffat County Fair

Ribbons are laid out ready to be pinned on winning entries at the 2016 Moffat County Fair. The contestants and the public are welcome to view results at the pavilion and under the grandstands Thursday to Saturday.

CRAIG — Help celebrate the 100th Moffat County Fair by entering homemade handiwork. Moffat County residents are eligible to compete for ribbons and cash prizes.

From jams to shorn fleece, cakes to quilts, or flowers to vegetables, there are categories for homemade and homegrown items of all kinds. Rules are available at  0j.b5z.net/i/u/10245112/f/fairbook_for_web.18.pdf .

Youth and Open Class entries are scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 and 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8 at the Moffat Couty Fairgrounds. Check the rulebook online for location.
