Moffat and Rio Blanco Counties and community members are invited to join EAGLE-Net Alliance and other community leaders in an informational and planning session to review and plan for regional telecom infrastructure in the counties of Moffat and Rio Blanco. Tuesday, Dec. 18, Braodband Team will meet at 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the main floor Conference Room in the Moffat County Courthouse located at 221 West Victory Way. This is a meeting to discuss details of the planned EAGLE-Net build-out of connecting and making available, middle-mile infrastructure in these counties in addition to community anchor institutions scheduled for 2012 and 2013.

The Humane Society is sponsoring “Second Chance Saturday” discount adopt-a-thon on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 9 a.m. – Noon at Bear Creek Animal Hospital. All shelter animals are $60 to adopt. The regular price is $115. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and Feline Leukemia test for cats.

The Humane Society of Moffat County meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 10, at 6:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. Please consider attending to learn more about our organization. Call Ann at 620-2014 for more information.



Wyman Museum Christmas for Kids is slated for Saturday, Dec. 15, from 1 p.m. till 4 p.m. Santa Claus will be there, sleigh rides will be given, lots of crafts, hot cocoa and snacks. Also get a chance to meet J.R. the new Elk. Bound to be a great time.
