The MITE SOCIETY of the Craig Christian Church will be hosting their “Annual Christmas Bazaar” on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the church located at 960 W Victory Way.
The bazaar will consist of home-made items, baked goods, candy, warm cinnamon rolls and coffee/tea/hot chocolate will be provided. Please Come and Enjoy!!!
This fall Ridgeview Elementary School will have the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade Music Concerts on the evening of Thursday, November 29, 2012. 1st grade will perform at 5:30 p.m. Students should be in their regular classrooms no later than 5:15 p.m.
2nd grade will perform at 6:15 p.m. Students should be in their regular classrooms no later than 6:00p.m.
3rd grade will perform at 7:00 p.m. Students should be in their regular classrooms no later than 6:45 p.m.
We will also have an afternoon performance at 1:00 p.m.
Please come and help us celebrate your child’s talents and achievements.
Making Colorado Cavity Free at Three
Denver- A statewide program has a simple goal: making Colorado kids cavity free by age three. The University of Colorado Medical School program is designed to raise awareness about the need for dental care even on those baby teeth. Karen Savoie runs “Cavity Free at Three.” She says toddlers should make brushing a part of their daily routine, and kids should start seeing a dentist by age one.
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – Full closures of the westbound Twin Tunnel on Interstate 70 near Idaho Springs are scheduled overnight this week to install rockfall fencing above the highway.
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will implement the following overnight closures:
Monday, November 26, 7 p.m. to Tuesday, November 27, 7 a.m. Eastbound and westbound traffic reduced to a single lane through the eastbound bore.
Tuesday, November 27, 7 p.m. to Wednesday, November 28, 7 a.m. Eastbound and westbound traffic reduced to a single lane through the eastbound bore.
Wednesday, November 28, 7 p.m. to Thursday, November 29, 7 a.m. Eastbound and westbound traffic reduced to a single lane through the eastbound bore.
Thursday, November 29, 7 p.m. to Friday, November 30, 7 a.m. Eastbound and westbound traffic reduced to a single lane through the eastbound bore.
Preparations for head-to-head traffic begin at 6 p.m., with the single lane configuration in place by 7 p.m. When I-70 is reduced to a single lane, the speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph and vehicles wider than 11 feet will not be allowed through the area.

VFW Ladies Auxiliary #4295 and VFW Post wish to invite Veterans and their Spouses to a Christmas Party/Dinner at the upstairs of the VFW Restaurant on December 17, at 6 p.m. Guests are welcomes to bring pot luck to go with ham and desserts which will be provided by the Auxiliary and Post.
