The Elks Club is hosting its annual basketball shoot-out. Saturday, Dec. 15, at 8 a.m., at Sandrock Elementary School. Ages 9 -13 years of age. After the shoot-out, all participants and their parents are invited to the Elks Lodge for brunch and the awards ceremony. The children who win in their age group will have the opportunity to travel to districts. The winners of districts travel to the state shoot-out. The winners of state have the opportunity to travel to Springfield, MA for the national shoot-out. The Elks club covers all travel cost for the winners.
The American Council of the Blind chapter formation group will meet on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m., at Sunset Meadows 2, 595 Ledford in Craig. People of all ages and interests are welcome to participate whether or not they have a eyesight problem. For more information call 824 6449.
Please note the change in all MCHS Basketball games that are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 14 have been changed to Thursday, Dec. 13., and they will play at the regular scheduled times.
9:02 a.m. On the 1000 block of Sage Court, community services personnel in Craig responded to a code enforcement call. A resident was issued a verbal warning for a code violation.
