Northwest Colorado Republican Women will meet at noon today at the Galaxy Restaurant, 524 Yampa Ave.

Moffat County School Board candidates speak and introduce themselves. The meeting is open to the public. Those who wish to eat lunch should arrive by 11:45 a.m.

Quilt auction set for Tuesday

The Yampa Valley Quilt Guild will host its annual auction at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hampton Inn & Suites, 377 Cedar Court.

The auction will include fabric, books, a quilting frame and gift certificates.

Blood drive slated for Tuesday

A Bonfils Blood Center blood drive is scheduled for 12:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at The Memorial Hospital, 750 Hospital Loop.

Cortners to give away pumpkins

Red and Linda Cortner will again give pumpkins to area youth.

In Craig, children may get a free pumpkin beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday at Homemaker Furnishings, 468 Ranney St.

In Meeker, pumpkins are available this afternoon on the Rio Blanco County Courthouse lawn.

Vendors accepted for garage sale

Sandrock Elementary School's School Advisory Committee will host an indoor garage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 22 in the school's gymnasium, 201 E. Ninth St.

To rent a 10-foot square booth space, with one eight-foot table and two chairs, the cost is $20.
