Country Christmas event set for Dec. 10
The Browns Hole Homemakers Club will host a country Christmas event at noon Dec. 10 at Lodore Hall in Browns Park.
The event includes a free dinner of turkey and ham with all the trimmings. Take wrapped and labeled gifts for your children and a salad or dessert to share.

The Moffat County Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting today is canceled.
The next meeting takes place at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 6 at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way.

Free crochet classes are scheduled through the end of the year, with a different project the focus each month.

CASA to host Holiday Home Tour
The Northwest Rocky Mountain Craig chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates will host the Holiday Home Tour from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The cost is $10, and tickets are available at Pam Designs, The Kitchen Shop, Cramer Flooring and Furniture Connection.
A cookie and cider finale, with a silent auction of winter-themed figurines, at The Center of Craig concludes the tour.

Christmas Bazaar set for Saturday
A Christmas Bazaar is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Craig Christian Church, 960 W. Victory Way.
The event will feature hand-embroidered pillowcases and tea towels, handmade gifts and home-baked goods.

Car care clinic set for Dec. 10
A free car care clinic for single mothers, seniors and disabled residents is scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 10 at Cook Chevrolet, 1776 W. Victory Way.
Car care clinic staffers will check all fluids and top them off, if needed; test anti-freeze; air up tires and check treads; and check lights, battery connections, horns, wipers and belts.
Staffers can also arrange for discounted repairs and oil changes, if possible.
The clinic is by appointment only and is a project by a small group from The Journey at First Baptist.

Depression, bipolar group meets Tuesdays
The Depression and Bipolar Support Group meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday at The Memorial Hospital, 750 Hospital Loop.
