Colorado Northwestern Community College is seeking art for purchase to include its new campus buildings in Craig.
Artists in Moffat County, Rio Blanco County, Hayden and Oak Creek are eligible to present their art for consideration.
Entries must be postmarked by July 13.

Humane Society to host pet voting next week
The Humane Society of Moffat County will be at the following locations for voting on the Pet Mates Calendar contest:

Preserving the Last Frontier to meet Saturday
The Preserving the Last Frontier organization will host its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the library on the second floor at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. Sherri Johnson will present a program on the history of Maybell.

American Legion bingo slated for Saturday
American Legion Post 62 is scheduled to host bingo Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and games begin at 5:45 p.m.

Newspaper seeking hunting stories, photos
The Craig Daily Press is seeking photos of hunting adventures and story suggestions from area hunters for inclusion in its annual "Colorado Hunter" publication.
Story ideas range from features about generations of hunters to new equipment that is changing the world of hunting, and anything in between. Photos need to be at least 300 dpi and clear for publication. The Daily Press would need digital .jpg files.
