The Natural Resources Conservation Service is accepting applications for its 2005 Environmental Quality Incentive Program. Applications received through Friday will be considered for enrollment in the 2005 Environmental Quality Incentives Program, and applications received after Friday will be considered during enrollment periods in 2005 or early 2006.

EQIP is a cost-share program that provides financial assistance for conservation systems such as animal waste management facilities, and wildlife habitat and management.

Applicants may apply at the NRCS field office that services their county. Moffat County residents can apply at the USDA Service Center, 356 Ranney St., in Craig.

Applications can be completed in person or downloaded from the NRCS Web site at and submitted by fax or mailed to a local NRCS office.
