Craig's Weight Loss Challenge takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

Fire board meeting rescheduled

The monthly Craig Rural Fire Protection District Board meeting scheduled for Thursday has been moved to April 28.

Two fire board members will be out of town and unavailable to meet Thursday, fire officials reported.

The April 28 meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the fire station, 419 Yampa Ave. It is open to the public.

Cattlewomen to meet Thursday

The Moffat County Cattlewomen are meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Moffat County School District bus garage on Rose Street. The meeting is open to women interested in promoting agriculture.

Preserving the Last Frontier to meet

The Preserving the Last Frontier organization will host its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. April 30 in the library on the second floor at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.

The program is to be the Dickinson/Sparks family history.

MCHS juniors to take ACT April 27

All Moffat County High School juniors will take the ACT from 8 a.m. to noon April 27. The test is free to students.

After juniors finish the test, they will be dismissed from school for the rest of the day.
