Book sale earns local library support group more than $1,000

To the Editor:

The Friends of the Library would like to thank all who contributed and purchased books, audios, records and videos at this year’s annual used book sale.

One-thousand dollars of the proceeds will go toward an addition to the rare books cases in the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries.

In addition to the income for the library, several boxes of books were donated to Sunset Meadows, the Visiting Nurse Association and Donna Reishus’ community in Belize.

Thanks to the community for its support of this sale. If you missed our annual blowout, don’t forget a much smaller ongoing book sale is always in progress in the northeast corner of the Craig Branch Library.

Charley Watkins,

Vice-president, Friends of the Library
