Bear euthanized after breaking into Colorado Springs home and spending 5 hours inside (video)
Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers euthanized a 375 pound bear Tuesday after it was caught inside a home near Colorado Springs.
The bear spent five hours inside a house where he was recorded opening a refrigerator in the kitchen, roaming a hallway, checking out bedrooms and exploring a family room.
On its southeast region Twitter account, Colorado Parks and Wildlife said officers tracked the bear and euthanized it because it had become a public threat.
