Bea (Whitaker) Hutton: Thank you for the help

To the editor:

A very sincere thank you goes to the following people and organizations for all of their time and help in caring for “Pee Wee” W.D. Lloyd during his recent illness.

The Noyes Health Care Center is one of the best health care facilities that I have had the privilege to use. Having a P.A. as caring and knowledgeable as Ron Taylor is a blessing to this community.

We also appreciate the weekly visits from Dr. Hughes.

Pee Wee was ill from June 13 until his passing July 29 and during this time, he had to be transported to Craig by ambulance three times.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

What an experienced and compassionate ambulance crew we have in this valley. When we had to use their service, they were at our home within minutes of us calling them.

The Colorado State Patrol also needs to be mentioned, as one of their dispatchers helped me with one call when our 911 system was not working.

Thanks again to you all. You made a most difficult time for Pee Wee, Smokey and I a little easier to bear.
