Basketball playoffs begin Friday
Playoff basketball comes to Craig on Friday and Saturday. Girls sub–regional playoff games begin Friday night when Palisade (13-10) takes on Conifer (12-10) at 5:30 p.m. at Moffat County High School. Steamboat Springs (7-14) plays Summit (16-7) at 7 p.m. Friday.
On Saturday, the early game will have Montrose (15-7) playing the winner of the Summit vs. Steamboat game at 5:30 p.m. In the second game, the undefeated Moffat County Bulldogs (22-0) will face the winner of the Palisade-Conifer game at 7 p.m.
The Moffat County boys team (11-11) will be on the road Friday, taking on Fountain-Fort Carson (9-14) at Centaurus High School in Denver. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.
If the Bulldogs win Friday, they will play Centaurus (17-6) on Saturday.
