Friday, Aug. 10
1:08 a.m. At North Kum & Go, officers with the Craig Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious person. A man was said to be circling the business and appeared to be waiting for customers to leave. Officer contacted the man, who said he was on his way home.
1:47 a.m. At a bar on Victory Way, officers responded to a report of a fight resulting in injuries. A 29-year-old Craig man was arrested for assault in the third degree, driving under the influence, and driving under restraint.
8:13 a.m. On the 200 block of Lincoln Street, officers investigated a theft report. A window was broken and a hood ornament was taken from a vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
9:03 a.m. On the 2300 block of West Victory Way, officers investigated a hit-and-run crash. A vehicle collided with a sign and another vehicle. The male driver was issued a summons for careless driving, failure to report, and driving without insurance.

9:28 a.m. On the 700 block of Stout Street, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the easement behind the reporting party's house. The vehicle was locked. The owner was contacted and said he had parked there because the curb was being repaired in front of his home. He agreed to move the vehicle.
10:22 a.m. In Craig, officers responded to a report of possible domestic violence incident. A man was allegedly dragging a woman by the arm. According to the report, she told him to let go of her and was yelling. The yelling had stopped by the time officer arrived and contacted the parties. The woman denied anything physical had happened, and there were no visible injuries.
6:34 p.m. At Breeze Street Park, officers responded to a report of a suspicious person. A man was allegedly throwing knives at a tree. He was told not to throw knives in the city.
6:53 p.m. Near the intersection of West Victory Way and Finley Lane, officers arrested two Craig women on unspecified warrants.
10:29 p.m. Near the intersection of Sixth Street and Yampa Avenue, officers contacted a bicyclist.
Saturday, Aug. 11
1:18 p.m. On the 600 block of Wickes Avenue, officers responded to a call from a woman concerned about her ex-husband. Officers contacted the man by phone. He refused to collect his belongings from the woman. Officers stood by as the woman transferred his belongings to a storage shed.
6:39 p.m. In Craig, officers investigated a suspected drug violation.
6:41 p.m. Near the intersection of West 10th and Ranney streets, officers investigated a report of a disturbance. Two women were reportedly yelling at each other. They were separated when officers arrived.
8:20 p.m. On the 1400 block of West Victory Way, officers responded to a report of suspicious people. A man and two women in a red minivan were allegedly threatening clerks. Investigating officers reported the individuals were acting strangely, but no crime was discovered.
Sunday, Aug. 12
12:42 a.m. On the 900 block of Alta Vista Drive, officers investigated a report of a disturbance. A woman was reportedly screaming and refusing to leave a man's property. She left before officers arrived.
3:33 a.m. On the 800 block of Ashley Road, officers responded to a report of a burglary in process. The caller said a man and women were attempting to break into the house. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anyone. No property damage was noted
5:12 a.m. On the 900 block of Alta Vista Drive, officers responded to a call about a suspicious person. The caller reported hearing a voice outside the window. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
10:13 a.m. On the 600 block of Ledford Street, officers investigated a report of a suspicious person. Someone was apparently camping in the area behind Sunset Meadows. Officers discovered a bedroll and blanket on school property. A message was left with the school.
12:12 p.m. At a restaurant on Victory Way, officers arrested a 35-year-old Craig man wanted on a warrant.
4:18 p.m. On the 600 block of East Fourth Street, officers investigated a theft report. A man reported items missing from his yard. He provided the name of a potential suspect, who returned items to the man. A woman was trespassed from the property.
8:58 p.m. On the 500 block of School Street, officers responded to a report of an assault that had occurred a couple days before. Officers spoke with everyone involved, and no crime was discovered.
