Auditions open for Craig Historic Ghost Walk
People with an interest in history and a flair for the dramatic are encouraged to volunteer as actors, actresses, guides, and helpers for the second annual Craig Historic Ghost Walk, which will perform Oct. 3, 4 and 5.
The Craig Historic Ghost Walk is a storytelling of Craig and Moffat County’s history.
Auditions to participate in the event are from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 at the Bell Tower Building, 50 College Drive, and from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Museum of Northwest Colorado, 590 Yampa Ave.
Organizers are seeking 32 actors and 25 guides.
Stories, subjects and characters for this year include the following:
- The Armory
- Augusta Wallihan
- David Moffat
- The KKK
- The Luttrell Barn
- Pioneer Newspaper Editor
- Big Ed Johnson
- Blanche Maud Hess
- Game Show Host
The event will feature two sit-down performances Oct. 3 at Luttrell Barn Cultural Center. Oct. 4 and 5 will be the walk itself in downtown Craig. Walks will leave every 15 minutes starting 5 p.m. with the last tour leaving at 7 p.m. Tours begin at Museum of Northwest Colorado.
The show will go on rain or shine. In the event of rain, the performance will go in the museum.
