Arrest made at Craig hotel: On the Record — Tuesday, Dec. 18

11:29 a.m. On the 800 block of Legion Street, officers with the Craig Police Department followed-up on an investigation resulting in the arrest of a person in Mesa County.

11:28 a.m. In Craig, officers received a Safe2Tell report. It was the only such report received Tuesday and is under investigation.  

12:36 p.m. On the 200 block of West Victory Way, officers responded to a crash resulting in property damage. A 2004, F-250 pickup truck reportedly backed into a Dodge pickup. The accident was reported by the driver at fault.

2:58 p.m. At Stockmen’s Liquor, officers issued a person with a trespass notice.

3:09 p.m. Near the intersection of East Ninth Street and Herring Circle, officers responded to a report of a suspicious person. A “kid” wearing a backpack and all black was wandering in the neighborhood, according to the caller. Officers were unable to locate him.

5:21 p.m. At the Bear Valley Inn, officers arrested a 32-year-old Craig man on two felony warrants and a misdemeanor warrant.
