April Leigh Shoemaker Johnson: Vote for Moe
To the editor:
I am writing to ask the members of our community to vote for Frank Moe to be our next Moffat County commissioner for District 3. I have known Frank for about 20 years. I worked alongside him and his wife in their business while I was a student at CNCC and have learned a great deal about caring and serving in our local community from them. I have watched as they mentored and taught other young people in our community, as well. Frank has won my vote, not just because he is a good and honest man but because he truly is engaged and passionate about protecting and developing Moffat County. Frank understands the importance of all local industries: the coal mines, the power plant, oil and gas development, local ranchers, tourism and, most especially, our local small business. He has spent 20 years successfully running his own business here in our community. He has a lot of experience interacting with local officials and other business owners. As someone who is dependent on the energy industry for my livelihood, I am grateful for the hours Frank has spent working to draw attention to important role it plays in our local economy. Frank has worked tirelessly to help us all know how and when we can make our voices heard in the state government. Please join me in supporting Frank Moe for county commissioner. I know he will continue to work long and hard to protect and develop Moffat County. He will use good common sense and he will listen to what the people of the county want.
