Andrea Camp: Get the facts straight before you vote Nov. 1
To the editor:
I am writing this letter after reading John Kinkaid’s letter to the editor on Tuesday. In his letter, Kinkaid writes that the state would keep $3,200 in excess taxes during the next five years. According to TV advertisements, I have heard that figure is closer to $500 during five years. I will vote in favor of referendums C and D because of the effect they will have on public education and other state-funded services. I am asking that you, as a resident of Colorado, please research the information available to you and get the answers you need to make an informed decision. Do not let the TV advertisements make a decision for you. Get the facts before you vote in November.
