Amy Peck: Amazing production
To the editor:
The Missoula Children’s Theater put on an amazing production of the Wizard of Oz this past weekend. Sixty four local children were cast in various roles to put on the production. The children were cast on Monday afternoon and worked hard each evening after school learning individual lines and songs for the performance. Saturday afternoon all of their hard work culminated in a wonderful production. This would not have been possible without the help of some amazing community members. I want to take time to thank Renee Campbell and the Craig Daily Press for providing such amazing coverage of the production. Frank Hannel and KRAI provided fantastic commercials advertising auditions and details to the Saturday performance. The Moffat County School District and Dixie Hatfield provided the auditorium and staff to help with the production of the show. Jennifer Riley with The Memorial Hospital, and Eva Peroulis with The Memorial Hospital Foundation have provided annual support and organization for the past four years to keep Missoula Children’s Theatre returning to Craig. Finally, Friends of Moffat County Education and the Parrot Heads provided generous monetary donations to help fund the production. Without the support of our amazing community this production would not have been as successful! Thank you all so very much!
