— Thanks to high school football team

My husband and I would like to thank the Moffat County High School football team for its wonderful help last week.

I injured my back just as we bought a new home in Craig and had no idea how we were going to move all the furniture out of our third floor apartment. At the advice of a friend, I contacted Kip Hafey, MCHS football coach and fellow science teacher, and asked Hafey if the football team might be able to help.

Without delay Mr. Hafey volunteered his players, “No problem.” Not only did they come to help, they also brought several of their own vehicles and totally moved us in two hours flat. My husband and I were completely amazed.

Eight football players and Mr. Hafey moved heavy furniture, beds and every single box out of our third floor apartment and into our new home. They set up our beds, placed our dressers and entertainment center just where I wanted them and put the boxes in the rooms marked on them.

The best of all, each one of the young men had such a wonderful attitude. They were pleasant and polite and so careful with our belongings.

I cannot express what a blessing they were to J.T. and me, nor can I extend enough thanks.

Thank you to each and every one: Dillon Guinn, Austin Hill, Gavin Thompson, Travis Wilson, JT Haddon, Matt Kincheloe, LaDrew Turner, Paul Nelson and Mr. Hafey.

We could not have done it without you.
