What prompted you to open your business in Craig?I was really tired of getting laid off and was looking for something that would last.
How did you get into your line of business?
Bob Trevenen convinced me I should do this because he was going to retire, and he trained me.
Describe your philosophy of being good business people.We have this slogan: “A good business reputation does not spring up overnight but grows slowly and soundly because it is rooted in the solid ground of customer satisfaction.” This is our model.
How do you define the role of your business in the community?
Providing the best service and appliances.
What’s the best part of your job?
Meeting people, and interacting with them.
What’s the most challenging part of your job? Finding time to play golf.
What advice would you give to people considering opening their own businesses? Do you homework and be sure it is something you want to do for a long time.
