Alphi Bennett: Damsel in distress

To the editor:

There is a Craig resident who always seems to have a smile on his face and a friendly wave when he passes you on the street. Many of you know him through church, where he used to work, and now, when he is driving the senior tansit bus.

I managed to get my car stuck in the snow Wednesday, and even though Clem was on his way to pick someone up in the bus, he stopped and helped me. Once I was out of my predicament, Clem smiled, waved and was on his way again. Clem, this damsel in distress truly appreciated all you did. A heartfelt thank you! I do hope your client wasn’t late for their appointment. Thanks again.
