A fire on Sunday was extinguished on Rose Street in Craig

Craig Fire/Rescue responded to a structure fire in the 600 Block of Rose Street around 5 p.m. Sunday.
The fire was contained to the residence’s utility room with no injuries and minimal fire damage, said Battalion Chief Troy Hampton.
Ten firefighters and two trucks were sent to the scene.
Hampton said the fire ignited in a pile of clothes that was in front of a hot water heater.
