62 MCHS students: Students: Don’t let a good teacher go

To the editor:

This letter is being written as a combined effort to help keep Eric Unglaub as a teacher at Moffat County High School. Unglaub teaches business and marketing. He also is an adviser for DECA, which he took to state this year. He led the school’s Knowledge Bowl team to state two years in a row. Unglaub has doubled enrollment in the marketing class and almost doubled the amount of money that the school DECA store takes in. The numbers are very impressive considering that Unglaub has been a teacher at MCHS for only two years. Unglaub challenges the students to try new things. The truly outstanding thing about Unglaub is how well he gets along with the students. Many of the students have really bonded with Unglaub. Losing him as a teacher will be extremely disappointing to the students. We want his teaching contract renewed, and we support keeping Unglaub as a teacher for MCHS.
